Goals

To promote a sense of social responsibility and leadership amongst youth in order to bring about more sustainable development outcomes in their own country as well as the ASEAN region,
To promote common goals that transcend cultural values and identities in order to build/ develop a shared Southeast Asian vision and purpose that encapsulates core human values.

Objectives

To encourage young people to become active participants in development processes whilst maintaining and promoting respect for the diversity of the region,
To encourage young people to explore, develop, and express their own values and opinions,
To encourage young people to make informed decisions about the challenges they face now as well as in the future,
To facilitate a greater understanding through dialogue and teamwork, and;
To develop skills which can enable them to participate fully and make a positive contribution to improve the lives of people within their communities.
