More than just an idyllic resort island with beautiful beaches and rice terraces, Bali, Indonesia is also home to a rich culture of Hinduism (i.e. Balinese) thus making it an ideal place to hold SEAMEO SPAFA’s 31st Governing Board Meeting and to discuss the Centre’s upcoming ‘Hindu Arts in Southeast Asia’ programme.
Other items on the meeting agenda included reporting of the previous fiscal year’s (2015-2016) programme activities, proposing and seeking approval of SEAMEO SPAFA’s programme activities for this fiscal year (2016-2017), and presenting the Centre’s next 5-year plan (2017-2023).
