On 2–3 October 2025, SEAMEO SPAFA is in Songkhla, Thailand, for a pre-event site meeting with our sister centre, SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability (SEAMEO SEPS). The purpose of this meeting is to finalise preparations for the upcoming Annual Capacity Building Series 2025/2026, which will be hosted in Songkhla next year.

Cultural Heritage and Sufficiency Economy Philosophy: Inclusive Growth, Resilience, and Community Well-being
Songkhla—home to a unique blend of Thai, Chinese, and Malay cultural influences—has been chosen as the setting for these initiatives. Its vibrant traditions and heritage make it an ideal context to explore living heritage, cultural conservation, and sustainable tourism through the framework of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
As the SEAMEO Regional Centre dedicated to the archaeology, fine arts, and cultural heritage of Southeast Asia, SEAMEO SPAFA is honoured to serve as a co-organiser. Through this collaboration, we aim to:
