Call for Abstracts for the International Congress on Education for the 21st Century, 3-4 May 2017, Impact Forum, Thailand

The International Congress on Education for the 21st Century 2017 (ICE2017), hosted by the Ministry of Education, Thailand and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) brings together diverse education actors and stakeholders representing the governments of SEAMEO Member Countries as well as public and private education institutions and agencies. ICE2017 will be a platform for the participants to share new learning paradigms and practices, exchange their perspectives on current issues and concerns surrounding education in Southeast Asia and build regional consensus on how education can effectively contribute towards the promotion of a self sufficient and a sustainable Southeast Asia. ICE2017 will be held on 3-4 May 2017 at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand.  The theme of the congress is “Making a Difference: Shaping a New Learning Paradigm for a Sustainable Southeast Asia.”

Submission of Abstract is Now Open : ICE2017 welcomes scholars/researchers/officers/practitioners to apply to be a parallel session speaker through designated selection process. Abstract submissions will be through online registration system. The submitted abstract must relate to one of the following themes.

Sub-Themes

Sub-Theme 2: Making Accessible and Inclusive Quality Education Happen Sub-Theme 3: Enhancing Regional Competitiveness through STEM Education Sub-Theme 5: Education in Emergencies and the Role of School Community Sub-Theme 6: Bridging Skills Development for Global and Local Demands Sub-Theme 7: Strengthening Citizen Engagement in Education and Community Development Note: Sub-themes 1 and 4 are reserved for Invited Keynote Speakers.

Deadline of Abstract Submission: 30 March 2017

The Ministry of Education Thailand will provide 2-night accommodation at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand and meals during the event for the selected paper presenters.  The presenters will be responsible for airfare and transportation costs to and from the meeting venue.
