Children’s Day in Thailand is held annually on the second Saturday of January. This year, that was Saturday, 11 January 2025 and to mark this special day, SEAMEO SPAFA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Thailand (MOE TH) held a booth at the Children’s Day Fair at MOE TH. The Children’s Day Fair was presided over by Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Thai Minister of Education, Pol. Gen. Permpoon Chidchob.
At our booth, educational material for families and children created by SEAMEO SPAFA were showcased and given away, such as:
- Living with Water, Heritage & Risks: An Educator’s Toolkit for Global Citizenship
- Tales from the Paddy Fields: Southeast Asian Folktales on Rice Culture
- A fun card game teaching kids about Southeast Asian countries and cultural heritage!
SEAMEO SPAFA was joined by SEAMEO Secretariat and other SEAMEO Centres such as SEAMEO STEM-ED, SEAMEO SEPS and SEAMEO INNOTECH.
