The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Archaeology and Fine Arts (SEAMEO SPAFA) will host a special exhibition of watercolour paintings showcasing the “Cultural Heritage of Southeast Asia” starting from 21 December 2022 to 31 March 2023 *EXTENDED TO 31 May 2023*. This exhibition will feature over 60 watercolour paintings masterfully done by Mr Wisit Pimpimol, Mr Sattha Homsawat, Mr Larp Ampairat, Mr Sanan Rattana and Dr. Pornthum Thumwimol (PhD) which showcase famous cultural heritage sites across Southeast Asia, including icons such as Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Thailand; The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Brunei; Bayon Temple, Cambodia; Prambanan Temple, Indonesia; and Plain of Jars, Lao PDR, and many more.
The exhibition will be unveiled on 20 December 2022 with a ceremony officiated by Guest of Honour, Dr. Nirutti Suttinon, Vice Minister for Ministry of Education, Thailand, and will be open to the public from 21 December 2022 until 31 March 2023 *(extended to 31 May 2023)* from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Mondays to Fridays (except on public holidays) in the Social Wing room of the SPAFA Building. Entry to the exhibition is free.
