SEAMEO SPAFA is a non-profit International Organization working for the development of the fields of Archaeology and Fine Arts through its training, workshop seminar, conference, research and publication programmes in its eleven-member countries in Southeast Asia.
We are presently seeking qualified people to join our team in the following positions listed below:
1. Knowledge Management Manager
Qualifications and experience:
a) Age between 25- 40 years at time of application.
b) A citizen of a SEAMEO Member Countries, ideally a Thai national.
c) At least Master’s Degree with major emphasis in Communications, international education and other related fields.
d) At least five (5) years of work experience with proven track record and exposure to knowledge management and capacity development. Ability to work in the regional organization and multinational environment is desirable.
e) Pleasant personality with good inter-personal skills and high level of organization and communication skills.
f) Excellent command of spoken and written English, Proficiency in other languages, especially Thai, is an asset.
g) Proficient in current information technologies.
h) Analytical, creative with problem-solving skills.
i) Sound physical and mental health.
2. Researcher (Heritage Conservation/Management)
Qualifications and experience:
a) Age between 25-40 years at time of application.
b) A citizen of a SEAMEO Member Countries.
c) At least a Master’s Degree in heritage conservation/management or a related field i.e. Architecture, Arts, Design, Museum Studies, Conservation Science, etc.
d) At least 2 years-experience in the relevant fields.
e) Ability to plan, develop and undertake projects, and to provide leadership.
f) Proficiency in English both in writing and speaking. Proficiency in other languages is an asset.
g) Competent computer and internet skills.
3. Librarian
Qualifications and experience:
a) Age between 25- 40 years at time of application.
b) A Thai Citizen.
c) At least Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or related field (Master Degree’s preferred).
d) Proficiency in English both in writing and speaking. Proficiency in other languages is an asset.
e) Proven experience in Library management or information services.
f) Strong knowledge of cataloging systems, digital databases and research tools.
g) Understanding of copyright, licensing, and intellectual property management.
h) Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
i) Competent computer and internet skills.
j) Applicants must be able to catalog books using the LC system.
4. Administrative Assistant (Finance)
Qualifications and experience:
a) Age between 25- 40 years at time of application.
b) A Thai Citizen.
c) At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
d) Proficiency in English both in writing and speaking. Proficiency in other languages is an asset.
e) Prior experience in administrative or finance-related roles preferred.
f) Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
g) Good communication and interpersonal skills.
h) Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
i) Applicants are requested to submit their TOEIC score together with the application.
