Vice Minister for Ministry of Education Thailand officiates opening of SPAFA’s watercolour painting exhibition, ‘Cultural Heritage of Southeast Asia’

On 20 December 2022, SEAMEO SPAFA’s watercolour painting exhibition titled “Cultural Heritage of Southeast Asia” was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony presided by Dr. Nirutti Suttinon, Vice Minister for Ministry of Education Thailand.

The opening ceremony had a huge turnout with attendees including representatives from the Embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines; SEAMEO Secretariat and SEAMEO Centres in Bangkok; and officials from the Thai Fine Arts Department, among many other guests.

Also present were the Thai five artists whose beautiful watercolour works of art are on display.

The exhibition is open to the public starting from 21 December 2022 until 31 March 2023, Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Admission is free.
